Lady Rattler Basketball Skills Camps- The following information is for 1 day camps @ the Murfreesboro Gym. We encourage your girls to come & learn skills from Coach Nicole Martin & Former Lady Rattler standouts/collegiate players Lainie Baxter & Rhealee Campbell.
South Pike County is excited to announce we will be able to let students eat for free during the 22-23 school year. This is a base year of eligibility for us and it is the upmost importance that we get applications filled out by every family. These applications are a necessity for the students to eat for free! Hope everyone is having a great summer and look forward to seeing all students back on August 16th!! It's a great day to be a Rattler!!
Starting next week the Murfreesboro Rattler Baseball program will have introductory baseball practices with our incoming 6th through 8th graders. This is free to all those interested in playing varsity baseball beginning their 9th grade year at Murfreesboro High School.

Sophomores Izzy Brinkley & Grace Epperly competed the last two days in Conway at the Sophomore Junior Classic for softball. The girls played among some of the state’s top underclassmen. Congratulations to you both. #GoRattlers

The SPCSD School Nurse would like to remind all parents to come to school and pick up their student's medications this week. They can be picked up in the nurse's office located in the elementary office.
Incoming 7th grade Girls and Boys who plan to participate in athletics next school year have an opportunity to receive a free school physical Wednesday May 25 at 2PM in the gym. Attached you will find the medical history form. Forms can be printed and filled out or they will be available for parents/guardians at the time of physicals.

Exciting news....Due to Asher Williams and Caleb Kuykendall’s 2nd place finish in the Ark-La-Tex Championship and the first place team's inability to accept the invitation, Asher and Caleb will be one of about 20 teams from Arkansas headed to Anderson, South Carolina's Lake Hartwell August 11-13 to represent Arkansas, the Ark-La-Tex Trail and the Rattlers!!!! This is a good time to recognize our sponsors for giving us the resources to get our teams as much exposure to fishing as many different lakes as possible and the local community for coming out to our fundraiser. It's been an awesome weekend of fishing for the Rattler High School team. Asher Williams and Caleb Kuykendall fished the 2 day, Ark-La-Tex Bassmaster High School Championship and took 2nd place and Big Bass! They led the tournament after fishing Saturday on Caddo Lake then took 2nd place on Millwood Sunday, leaving their total weight only about a pound shy of winning it. Asher caught the big bass of the tournament on day 1, a 6.44 lb lunker! So proud of these young men and can't wait for next season! Next up for Asher and Caleb will be the AGFC Commissioner's Cup on lake Ouachita June 18.
