South Pike County School District is a great place to be a student. Serving grades K-12, SPCSD is committed to preparing our students for their future. Technology plays a big role in our instruction and we have been recognized as Apple Distinguished Schools. All students are equipped with an Apple iPad and ninety percent of district teachers are Apple Certified Teachers. This allows for traditional instruction as well as blended and virtual learning.
Elementary students in SPCSD benefit from small class sizes and a “whole child” approach to instruction. Each day begins with enrichment and remediation to put an emphasis on learning. A wide variety of activities are available including: STEM Labs, Coding, Quiz Bowl, Robotics, Archery and Chess teams.
Murfreesboro High School provides a diverse learning environment by combining traditional instruction and innovation to prepare our graduates for their future. MHS offers concurrent college credit courses and technical certificates in cooperation with CCCUA. MHS students have the opportunity to participate in Varsity sports, Robotics, Coding, Award winning Band, Archery, Quiz Bowl and other clubs and activities.

"One thing I love about our school, is that you get the small school experience with a large school opportunity. " - Dusty Lee (Class of 2023).
