
Ms. Wesson’s class brought a scavenger hunt to the 6th graders today!




Ms. Wesson’s class brought in a STEM activity to the 6th grade students. There was a challenge to see who could build the tallest structure.




Mrs. Cornish's 8th grade science class was investigating collision forces. The students learned that when two objects collide, a force is exerted on each object. The two forces are exerted in opposite directions, but they are the same strength. They used hands-on materials and also a simulation to collect data.




Goals are being met here at MES!! Mrs. Maag brought Kindergartener Johnathan up to the cabinet for a special reward for all of his hard work! He met a personal goal! Go Johnathan!!!




Mrs. Wesson’s class came over from MHS to help Mrs. Howard’s students with Halloween projects!




Science!! Sixth grade students using pipe, cleaners to represent molecules! Students were assigned the following roles: digestive system, respiratory system, circulatory system, and the roll that cells play in our body.







Oh, look...another glorious morning at MES with our fabulous PT, Speech, and OT therapist!


At MES our Speech classes have gone spooky this week with students playing Halloween Twister and playing in the Halloween sensory box!

As always...It's A Great Day to Be a Rattler AND work at MES! Teachers and Staff got an upbeat surprise this Hump Day morning from the Woot Woot Wagon!!





If you've ever wondered why Arkansas has a tourism industry, just asked Mrs. Maroon's classes. Recently, Mrs. Maroon’s tourism classes explored part of the Arkansas tourism industry by going on a train ride from Van Buren to Winslow!! 🚂 What a great experience!! #GoRattlers











2nd graders who met their Accelerated Reader goal for the first nine weeks got rewarded with an extra recess and popsicles!


In conjunction with the Murfreesboro Chamber of Commerce, the MHS Junior Class will be hosting their annual Fall Festival around the square this year! Come on out this Saturday, October 28 for some family fun! Booths and games will be open from 11 am - 5 pm. The costume contest will be at 2 pm at the stage. See you on the square!! #GoRattlers
