All aboard! Mrs. Maroon’s tourism classes took their learning on the rails earlier this week with a scenic train ride through the Boston Mountains from Van Buren to Winslow — one of Arkansas’s favorite tourist experiences! What a fun way to bring tourism to life outside the classroom!

World History let their creativity shine! They created and presented projects about European monarchs from the 1500s-1800s. Their reflections indicated that they learned more than just history, but also time management, communication skills, teamwork, responsibility, and the value of making a good plan before starting!

Our members traveled to UAHT in Hope to learn more about FBLA, leadership, achievement awards, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation service project. The day included special entertainment from magician and comedian Mike Bliss from Branson, MO!
