Sophomore Elizabeth Evans competed in the Arkansas Heptathlon in Cabot on May 16th and 17th. Evans scored 2,954 pts total and finished 38 out of 81 participants. Evans was the highest scoring 2A finisher in the competition, and finished behind 29 participants from 5-7A classifications.

Athletic banquet will be May 21st at 5:30 in the Activity Room. Athletes get in free, and all non-athletes will be charged 10 dollars for entry.

Lady Rattler softball Regional Tournament has been postponed due to rain. They will play tomorrow at 1:30 in Poyen.

Rattler Athletics Fundraiser: The Murfreesboro High School athletic department will be having a 5 gun raffle to raise funds for uniforms, gear, etc. for our athletes. Info about tickets are provided in the picture attached. Cost is $10 per ticket.
If you are interested in purchasing a ticket, you can contact any student-athlete in 7-12 grade or contact Coach McRae. First drawing will be May 2nd!

South Pike County students will be taking their State mandated tests April 30-May 4. 3rd-6th grades will test Monday-Friday & 7th-10th grades will be testing Tuesday-Thursday! Good luck to all!
The Sr District track meet has been moved to Saturday at Magnet Cove. Field events start at 10:00 am
The senior high district track meet will be Wednesday April 25th at Magnet Cove at 2:00 pm. If weather postpones it, it will be made up Saturday April 28th at 10:00 am.
There has been a change to the previous date for the Foreman make up games. The baseball/softball games vs. Foreman will be made up on Wednesday, April 11th at 4:30. Sorry for the confusion.
MHS Promenade is at 7:00 on the front lawn tomorrow April 7th and the prom will follow at 8:00.
The track meet for April 12th has been moved from Mineral Springs to Gurdon due to track resurfacing.
