Seniors needing to purchase activity cords for graduation need to see Mrs. Stone. Cords are $4 each and must be paid for at pick up. Friday is the last day to purchase the activity cords!

Our Ready for Learning team will be meeting soon on the Governor's announcement today on changes to the Guidance for Schools for Covid. We will continue to follow all guidelines that are in place right now including wearing mask until we can establish the safest plan for us to continue on-sight learning. We will update soon on changes that will occur.

Rattler Baseball defeats Dierks 20-0 behind Senior Gavin Rawls' 3 Home Runs. Rattlers combined for 7 total home runs and 20 total hits. Sophomore Sloan Perrin limited Dierks to 1 hit with 6 Ks. Lady Rattlers defeat Dierks 13-0. Seniors Emma Corbitt, Rhealee Campbell, & Brooke Westfall combined for 4 hits and 3 RBIs of the teams 10 hit performance. Freshman Izzy Brinkley shut down Dierks on 8 Ks in 5 innings of play. #GoRattlers

MHS’ Harley Keys, and fellow welding classmates from surrounding districts, won 1st place at the 2021 Weld-A-Thon yesterday, at South Arkansas Community College in El Dorado. They were given a blueprint, welding materials, and 2 hours to build a custom fire pit. Team work made the dream work, and their hard work paid off. Each team member won a welding helmet, three pairs of welding gloves, a $50 visa gift card, t-shirt, and ball cap. The students were accompanied by their welding instructor, Stuart Dufrene, and Julie Rhodes, Director of High School Programs. Congratulations, Harley! MHS is honored to have you as a Rattler! #GoRattlers
